Imagine > Will

"When the will comes into conflict with the imagination, the imagination invariably carries the day"

That simply means, when your will (your rational, logical self) comes in conflict with your imagination (your creative, right-brained self) your imagination always wins.

Imagination is key

Think of this! A child is told there are no monsters under the bed, but when the lights go off, the childlike imagination runs wild. Now a easy way to control this is to appeal to the child's imagination than to logic e.g Dont worry, the monsters in our house aren't the kind that hurt kids. We only let in the kind that protect kids...

We adults are no different, and the fears we imagine are no less threatening. We have all been held back by the fear of rejection, this is without a doubt. Its human nature to seek acceptence by our peers. We want to be loved. We crave it. And we hate to look like fools.
Often we end up imagining the worst. We see them turning us down, not approving or refusing to do business with us. We end up "mind reading", projecting thoughts into other people's minds. I'm sure we have all thought these things in certain situations "I'll bet she doesn't like me." "He thinks I'm not as successful as I appear"
Why dont you imagine the best? Picture yourself succeeding. See people accepting you, liking you, wanting your talents and ideas. Imagine them saying Yes!
Do the opposite to what we as people have always done and insert positive thoughts into their minds.
"They need my idea" "I am the person, and answer they've been looking for"

Believe it or not, people do actually read your mind. What you "think" is projected through the airwaves to the person you're meeting with. They pick it up subliminally. So if they're going to be reading your mind anyway, make sure that what they read is worth reading.
Imagine the best case scenario. Project the best possible outcome.

“Limitations live only in our minds. But if we use our imaginations, our possibilities become limitless.”

Another form of imagination which I have touched on a little in my "Everyone Manifests" blog is Visualisation or Directed imagination. It is the use of our imagination to implant particular images into our minds. Later, when we are in those situations we have imagined, we will tend to "act out" the images. The images could be those of a healthy body, or objects which we want to own, or sports (such as football of course) which we want to master, or psychological qualities that we wish to achieve.

This is a very effective way of transforming those restraining forces into driving forces, identifying those fears and doubts, eliminating them so they dont limit our potential as creators of our own destinies. Basically a form of training our brain, having a practice session in our thoughts and removing any negative impacts and doubts that enable us to peform to our potential rather than stepping into the "deep end" unprepared, scared of failure and unacceptance and restricting our movements as playmakers of our lives.

Believe me if you apply this to anything you truly want to achieve, then this will make sense. If you have no purpose, no direction and currently feeling like your standing still in life then begin to change, focus on a thought or a goal and work through it. Dont EVER, not chase your dreams...

Being "CONGRUENT"

CONGRUENT -  to come together, agreeing, corresponding, harmonious

Sunlight focused through a magnifying glass can start a fire. But the conditions must be "just right." If the magnifying glass is held too high above the paper, the rays are diffused and dont generate enough heat to make fire.
When you heat water to 212°, it begins to boil. If the temperature only reaches 211°, the water wont boil.
An airplane has to reach a certain ground speed before it lifts off into the sky. Any speed less than this will not produce flight - only a crash at the end of the runway
A satellite must reach "escape velocity" to break free of earth's gravitational pull. Then it falls into an effortless orbit where the breath of a baby is enough to propel it. But if the spacecraft doesnt reach escape velocity, it tumbles back down to earth.
Some people expend enormous amounts of energy trying to become successful. They seem to do almost everything right e.g set goals, disciplined etc. they go through all the right motions. Still, success seems somehow to elude them. Yet others appear to go through the same motions and are literally awash in abundance of success. What is the difference?
To manifest abundance ( read my manisfestation blog post http://tiny.cc/tcbat to understand the importance of it), you need to achieve congruence - the condition where all parts of you are in alignment, to come together, correspond and be harmonious with each other. There are 3 important key parts you need to align!

The first is DESIRE: you have got to want it
The second is BELIEF: You've got to believe that you can be successful, and have a continued abundance of success
The third is SELF-ACCEPTANCE: You have got to believe your deserve to be successful, to your very core.

If one of these is out of alignment, your energy is diffused, ineffective. e.g You may want to become wealthy or a performer and even if you feel you deserve it and have the burning desire to make it a reality, but after several unsuccesful attempts, you form the belief that your're just not cut out for it. two out of three isn't enough. You're not congruent.

You're only firing on two engines, and it takes three to reach escape velocity. You end up falling back to earth. To produce enough heat, to reach boiling point, to attain the right ground speed, to achieve escape velocity, you need to be congruent.  EVERY part of you must "buy in" your heart, your mind and your spirit. It has to be all systems go otherwise you will always end up falling back down to earth.

Remember being congruent is to align your heart, mind and spirit or without sounding so spiritually spoken is to align these important elements DESIRE, BELIEF, SELF- ACCEPTANCE.

"Man often becomes what he believes himself to be. If I keep on saying to myself that I cannot do a certain thing, it is possible that I may end by really becoming incapable of doing it. On the contrary, if I shall have the belief that I can do it, I shall surely acquire the capacity to do it, even if I may not have it at the beginning".

Begin to process this information deep down inside yourself, then succeeding will become a habit and not a rare occurance of achievement in your life, its not wrong or selfish to be successful every second, every minute of every day you live. People who believe it is are usually the people who dont realise or in some cases do, that the are moving backwards if not standing still in life. Be better than this...

Commitment Is what it takes...

                                            Study this quote!

"Until one is committed there is hesitancy, the chance to draw back, always ineffectiveness. Concerning all acts of initiative (and creation) there is one elementary truth, the ignorance of which kills countless ideas and splendid plans : that the moment one definitely commits oneself, then Providence moves too. All sorts of things occur to help one that would never otherwise have occurred. A whole stream of events issues from the decision, raising in one's favour all manner of unforeseen incidents and meetings and material assistance, which no man could have dreamt would have come his way. I have learned a deep respect for one of Goethe's couplets: 'Whatever you can do, or dream you can, begin it. Boldness has genius, power and magic in it.' "

                                 W. H. Murrey http://tiny.cc/oyu41

Commitment is the spark that ignites the fire. Commitment is the key that starts the engine. When one draws a line in the sand and declares, "I am committed to do this, whatever it takes, for however long it takes." then an invisible signal is sent out, like a radio beacon, resonating with whatever resources necessary to complete the task.
These resources begin to "materialise" as if by magic. Ideas begin to flow. Time slows down or speeds up to accommodate. People suddenly arrive as if summoned.
How does this happen?
Have you ever played with a tuning fork? When you tap the fork, it begins to vibrate and hum, sending out sound vibrations of a specific pitch through the air around it. If you place another tuning fork nearby, collaborated to the same note, the second fork picks up on this vibration and slowly begins to hum and vibrate in harmony with the first fork. If the second tuning fork is not pitched to the same note, it does not vibrate.
Now, we ALL send out silent and invisible signals. Most of the time, these signals are weak and unfocused. However when you reach a certain level of commitment, the intensity of your vibrations increases with more focus (focus being the most important catalyst), these signals become strong and a unavoidable magnet to the resources you need and the people around you. Your spirit, your soul, your life force or whatever you want to call it, begins to vibrate at a higher frequency. These vibrations, like invisible radio signals, are picked up unconsciously by everyone you meet. The message is subtle but clear....I am committed.

When your committed, your mind and body are energized by the passion of your purpose.

A commitment is a pledge, promise or resolution. It's the instant moment when you decide to give your full dedication and heart and soul to the fulfillment of something that you have thought of.
It makes you put yourself in a situation where you will never turn back. You are serious and have your vision only fixed on your purpose. You will move ahead in spite of doubts and risks because you have made an obligation to yourself to follow through and keep your word.

When these characters and traits are combined with self discipline, people succeed in getting rid of bad habits or attitudes, change direction, reach their goals and achieve their dreams. Dreams that can be simple as learning how to cook, being a body attack instructor, owning a home/house or being a millionaire.

Making a commitment...

1. Fix your purpose and then state your intention - write it down, say it out loud, believe it.

2. See it, visualise it - begin to power the mind with your purpose, and it will stimulate you to where you want to be, and become

3.  Give your full attention - Nothing is achieved without focus, make those signals you send out strong and unavoidable to other people

4. Discipline - Make progress despite doubts, fears and insecurities. Remember to push through these points in your cycle and that being uncomfortable is a sign of progress, as we are not standing still in comfort.

5. Persist - No goal is unachievable, our minds make it this.

6. Kings Throne - You have reached your goal, now is time to ensure you remain humble.

"It was character that got us out of bed, commitment that moved us into action, and discipline that enabled us to follow through." - Zig Ziglar

Changing your Reality

Do you ever talk to yourself?
Many people have a positive internal voice that encourages them, especially when they've done something good. Its like their own personal cheerleader "Go for it" "You can do it" "Well done"
Do you have a voice like that?
Some people have a voice that is more skeptical: "Who do you think you are" No chance of doing that" "What an idiot"

Sometimes, without being aware of it, this skeptical voice talks us out of our dreams. You have a great idea and immediately this voice fires off in our head, "Yeah, but..." followed by a string of reasons why it wont work.
Successful people call this voice "Mr Yabut", because he is always trying to talk us out of something.
Frankly, there are some things that we all ought to be talked out of. The "Yabuts" can serve a useful function, trying to protect us, to keep us out of trouble. But more often than not, Mr Yabut reacts too quickly to stifle our creativity. Instead of a voice of reason, it tries to to kill the thought before it has a chance to grow. If we let this reaction go unchecked it can cause unnecessary anxiety, muddled thinking, poor health, even ruin our lifes. If that is the case, you need to learn how to silence them and take control of your thought process.

The question I was asking was how?

Notice your positive, cheerleading internal voice right now. Where is it? Is it loud or is it soft? Imagine there is a sound dial that controls the volume of your internal dialogue. Turn up the volume of your positive voice. How does it make you feel? Try finding a volume level that motivates you, that encourages you to be your best.
Notice your negative internal voice. Where is it? Whenever you notice it taking control, just turn the volume down. Notice how that makes you feel.

There is something else you can do to silence the "Yabut" for good. A very simple process. Find a rubber band and put this on your wrist. Everytime you catch yourself thinking a negative or counterproductive thought, you snap the rubber band. Yes, it causes pain. The pain causes a "pattern interrupt." Mentally, and perhaps vocally you say "OWW!" This technique is so simple and you will find you'll start to quickly, safely, and satisfyingly change your behaviour. It will amaze and delight you the results you can begin to see that weren't there before.

Remember your thoughts have the power to curse or bless. They can lead you to plenty of positive goals and success...or to limitation, scarcity and deprivation of your dreams and reality. The choice is ours but I always like to remember that we control our thinking. Our thinking controls our behaviour. Our behaviour controls our results.
