CLARITY to ACHIEVE

We all know the importance of goals. But how to think about our goals no one really knows. The most important thing you can know is:

Dont think of your goals, think from your goals.

What that means is, rather than thinking of your future dream home, think from your dream home. Imagine yourself actually living in that dream home, as if you were already there. What do you see? How does this make you feel this dream home? What are you saying to yourself about this home? Actually experience living there.

Thats the difference between simply thinking of your goal and thinking from it.

Does it work? In the book, Golf My Way, by Jack Nicklaus he revealed he used this technique to become one of the greatest golfers of all time. Before each shot, he created a mental movie of the entire golf shot in his head.

"I never hit a shot, even in practice, without having a very sharp, in-focus picture of it in my head. It's like a colour movie. first I "see" the ball where I want it to finish, nice and white sittiing up high on the bright green grass. Then the scene quickly changes and I "see" the ball going there: its path, trajectory, and shape, even its behaviour on landing. Then there's a sort of fade-out, and the next scene shows me making the kind of swing that will turn the previous images into reality."

Another great example was during the 1984 Olympics an American gymnast Mary Lou Retton stood at the end of the mat preparing for her final vault. The stakes couldn't be higher. She had to get a perfect score. A 10/10, or lose it all. Lose the dream, the gold, team pride, everything. She closed her eyes for a few seconds, then got into position, ran and nailed a perfect 10 off the horse mount to clinch the gold medal for herself and team USA. When asked by reporters afterwards what she was thinking when she closed her eyes before her run, she told them she saw herself doing every motion precisely, flawlessly, and achieving a perfect score.

There are times in life when everything IS on the line. It's either 100% or nothing. TRYing and striving doesn't get you anywhere, only achieving does. That's why it's critical to visualise your goals clearly.

One word you should remove from your vocabulary is the word TRY.  When you TRY to reach a goal, or a higher level of success in any thing in life then you are already capturing a thought in your mind already that you believe that you are below this line that he wish to achieve. Like anything, you must believe you can reach your goal but must never believe you dont deserve it or only capable of TRYing for it. You must believe and act like reaching your goal has already happened and that you deserve it and thats where you should be.

For example

If I was a 65% mark student at school, and I said to myself I want to TRY for 80% then there would be no doubt that I will remain a 65% mark student no matter how much work I put in because my belief is already that all I am only a 65% mark student. You can never better you belief. However if I decide I am a 80% student doing only 65% work and believe I should be a 80% student as this is a realistic goal I want to achieve, then I will find I will begin to find and attract the resources needed to achieve this as this is where I believe i should be.

TRY = FAILURE

Goal setting also has a process, its a principle and this is the reason it doesn't fail because principles can't fail...

-First you must Capture a thought, a goal you want to achieve (it must be realistic and attainable)

-You must then Believe it, if you dont believe it, you will accept you can't achieve it or not accept the success of your goal.

-Too believe it, you need to write it down, read it out loud to yourself, self-confess it

-SEE it, picture it already in your mind, what this goal makes you feel like, the colours, the smell, the taste

-And most importantly.....ACT like its already so, or happened! begin to act like you have achieved it already.

Your mind controls everything. This method of vivid visualising, will change your self-image to conform to these new images in your mind and make them become reality......

Imagine > Will

"When the will comes into conflict with the imagination, the imagination invariably carries the day"

That simply means, when your will (your rational, logical self) comes in conflict with your imagination (your creative, right-brained self) your imagination always wins.

Imagination is key

Think of this! A child is told there are no monsters under the bed, but when the lights go off, the childlike imagination runs wild. Now a easy way to control this is to appeal to the child's imagination than to logic e.g Dont worry, the monsters in our house aren't the kind that hurt kids. We only let in the kind that protect kids...

We adults are no different, and the fears we imagine are no less threatening. We have all been held back by the fear of rejection, this is without a doubt. Its human nature to seek acceptence by our peers. We want to be loved. We crave it. And we hate to look like fools.
Often we end up imagining the worst. We see them turning us down, not approving or refusing to do business with us. We end up "mind reading", projecting thoughts into other people's minds. I'm sure we have all thought these things in certain situations "I'll bet she doesn't like me." "He thinks I'm not as successful as I appear"
Why dont you imagine the best? Picture yourself succeeding. See people accepting you, liking you, wanting your talents and ideas. Imagine them saying Yes!
Do the opposite to what we as people have always done and insert positive thoughts into their minds.
"They need my idea" "I am the person, and answer they've been looking for"

Believe it or not, people do actually read your mind. What you "think" is projected through the airwaves to the person you're meeting with. They pick it up subliminally. So if they're going to be reading your mind anyway, make sure that what they read is worth reading.
Imagine the best case scenario. Project the best possible outcome.

“Limitations live only in our minds. But if we use our imaginations, our possibilities become limitless.”

Another form of imagination which I have touched on a little in my "Everyone Manifests" blog is Visualisation or Directed imagination. It is the use of our imagination to implant particular images into our minds. Later, when we are in those situations we have imagined, we will tend to "act out" the images. The images could be those of a healthy body, or objects which we want to own, or sports (such as football of course) which we want to master, or psychological qualities that we wish to achieve.

This is a very effective way of transforming those restraining forces into driving forces, identifying those fears and doubts, eliminating them so they dont limit our potential as creators of our own destinies. Basically a form of training our brain, having a practice session in our thoughts and removing any negative impacts and doubts that enable us to peform to our potential rather than stepping into the "deep end" unprepared, scared of failure and unacceptance and restricting our movements as playmakers of our lives.

Believe me if you apply this to anything you truly want to achieve, then this will make sense. If you have no purpose, no direction and currently feeling like your standing still in life then begin to change, focus on a thought or a goal and work through it. Dont EVER, not chase your dreams...

Everyone Manifests

Manifest

- to show plainly; to make to appear distinctly, -- usually to the mind; to put beyond question or doubt; to display; to exhibit

Look around you, everything you see began as a thought in someone's mind, as I exampled previously in my 'introduction' blog, the chair you sit on, the bed you sleep in, the house you live in. The car you drive. The clothes you wear. the television you watch. First, a thought. Then, a thing brought forward out of nothing. There it is. Everything begins as a thought.
Now the verb for turning thoughts into things is to manifest. The idea of manifesting something is to metaphorically speaking reach your hand through a invisible curtain separating the tangible world or reality from the world of imagination and pull your desired object into existence.

First, you think it, then you manifest it. You "materialise" it. You cause it to appear.
Everyone manifests. Some people manifest in abundance. Others lack manifest. The question you should ask yourself if you don't have what you want is "How did i manifest this?" examine your thoughts.

You are the fruit of the thoughts you have planted and nourished/grown in your mind. If you want better harvest in your mind you must plant better thoughts. Simply put a apple seed will not produce a peach tree, poor thoughts will not produce quality.
Like a acorn becomes a oak tree, the thoughts in your mind become your reality.

Thoughts are things and every thought has a consequence. No thought lives in your brain unattached and each thought is a pebble dropped into your life pond. Drop a pebble in a pond and you will get ripples, these ripples are real, in essence its the minds own "butterfly effect". Remember creating tiny movements in your thoughts and actions and getting this as close to perfect as possible in your first 15% of any process and then it will be impossible for that outcome not to be successful http://tiny.cc/j9isj. The more intense the thought, the more powerful the outcome. An angry thought gets picked up like a radio wave, people can sense it. Your whole aura around becomes infected. We have to disperse such thoughts.

Instead, think intensely positive thoughts. Grow enthusiastic images, don't underestimate the power of visualisation. For someone like me my manifestation would be of visualisation with football.

-Visualisation is a practice by which you can deliberately change the way you feel, your level of autonomic arousal, and your behaviour.

-This is a creative visualisation for the purposes of relaxation. However, visualisation can also be used to improve performance, reduce fears and phobias

For someone else it could be manifesting that idea or creation that yields wealth, being an entrepreneur of there on minds. Now speak only wonderful words to yourself, constantly. This will colour the view of the world from your eyes and you will begin to attract the resources needed to manifest the world you desire.
